  There are several different ways we share information with one another. Here are the 4 main form of communication: 1) Verbal communication Verbal communication is the use of language to transfer information through speaking or sign language.  Spoken or  Verbal Communication , which includes face-to-face, telephone, radio or television and other media Verbal communication is important because it is efficient. It can be helpful to support verbal communication with both nonverbal and written communication. 2) Nonverbal communication Nonverbal communication  is the use of body language, gestures and facial expressions to convey information to others.  It can be used both intentionally and unintentionally. Definition  -Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place, person or group to another. -Communication is any behaviour- verbal, nonverbal or graphic- that is perceived by another. -Every communication involves (at least) one sender, a message and a recipient. -Communication requires full understanding of behaviours associated with the sender and receiver and the possible barriers that are likely to exist.
